Dr. Sarah Broughton Joins the Team
Join us in welcoming our new audiologist, Sarah Broughton, Au.D. to the Cornerstone team. Dr. Broughton completed her bachelor’s degree at the State University of New York at New Paltz and her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Arizona. She joins Cornerstone following the completion of her training at Columbia University Medical Center in New York and looks forward to help our patients obtain their best hearing health.
Audiology and Hearing Aid Services
Cornerstone’s audiologists can help with managing issues affecting hearing and balance, including:
- Hearing Loss – Evaluate and treat hearing, balance, and tinnitus disorders (ringing in the ears).
- Hearing Screening and Testing – Screening to identify possible hearing disorders. Testing will confirm if a hearing loss is present and determine the kind and degree of loss.
- Hearing Aid Fittings – Following a hearing loss diagnosis, our audiologists will evaluate the treatment that best meets your lifestyle, living arrangement, recreational activities, vision and manual dexterity. This may include a hearing aid, or assistive listening device (ALD) that helps you hear better.
- Noise and Hearing Loss Prevention – Learn how to protect hearing from the effects of noise.
- Tinnitus Assessment & Management – Do you constantly hear ringing in your ears? You could have tinnitus. Learn how to treat and cope with ringing in the ears.
New WhisperRoom in Newburgh
Cornerstone Family Healthcare would like to thank the Kaplan Family Foundation for generously funding the addition of a new WhisperRoom at the Kaplan Family Pavilion in Newburgh. The addition of this state-of the-art sound booth provides us with an excellent space to conduct hearing tests without sound interference.
