Cornerstone Family Healthcare is the only health care provider in Orange County with a clinic dedicated to serving the homeless population. Cornerstone defines “homeless” very simply: lacking permanent housing. The individuals and families we serve at our homeless clinic may be found staying in homeless shelters, sleeping on the street or in a vehicle, in a transitional housing program or moving from place to place. An individual may also be considered homeless if they are unable to maintain their housing situation and are forced to stay with a series of friends and/or extended family members. Individuals who are released from a prison or a hospital may be considered homeless if they do not have a stable housing situation to which they can return.
Cornerstone Family Healthcare is proud to offer health care services to the homeless people ofNewburgh at our permanent location at 290 Broadway in the City of Newburgh.Additionally, Our Mobile Health Van visits shelters in Newburgh and Middletown each week.
