CORNWALL, N.Y. (September 25, 2020)—Cornerstone Family Healthcare is pleased to welcome Dr. Ashwin Koshy, DO, and Jennifer Christophe, FNP to the team. Both Dr. Koshy and Jennifer Christophe will be practicing family medicine at the community health center’s Port Jervis location.
Dr. Koshy received his Medical Doctorate Degree from Lincoln Memorial University – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee, and completed his residency at Rochester Regional Health in Batavia, NY. Dr. Koshy’s clinical interests include preventative medicine and health maintenance, addiction medicine, and acute conditions. He is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine and holds a NYS Physician License. Dr. Koshy chose his specialty because he is able to care for a wide range of patients and develop long term relationships with them and their families. Dr. Koshy takes pride in approaching patient care with compassion and empathy.
Jennifer Christophe received her degree from Dominican College in Orangeburg, New York. Her main clinical interest is nephrology, the specialty focused on normal kidney function and kidney disease. Jennifer is bilingual in both English and Kreyol. She values community and the necessity of providing family medicine. Jennifer is proud to be able to provide undocumented and uninsured patients with the care that they need and deserve. Respect, commitment, and integrity are her most important personal values. Jennifer takes pride in connecting with her patients by meeting them on their level of understanding.
Cornerstone’s Port Jervis office, located at 140 Hammond Street, is open Monday from 9 AM – 5 PM, Tuesday from 10 AM – 6 PM, and Wednesday through Friday from 9 AM – 5 PM.
