  6. Why did you choose to be a provider in your specialty?

Growing up can be difficult for children, youth, and adolescents. Throughout my career, I have focused my training to learn how to provide high-quality support to this vulnerable population from the changing political, economic, and social climates. When children and adolescents feel cared for, respected and heard, they can learn the tools needed to live a well-balanced life with stability and promise.

  7. What are your top three personal values? Communication, Honesty, Empathy
  8. What is your approach to connect with your patients? I believe it is my responsibility to provide the best care to my clients, build on their strengths, and preserve the family unit to better thrive in a community of support. I work to build a trusting rapport, to ensure the safety and security of the youth, recommending the best practice to implement change and an opportunity for growth. I use compassion and my professional communication skills to address the critical needs of my clients.
  9. What is one of your most proud accomplishments? Working in the human services field can be very rewarding. Proud accomplishments I have experienced are a result from sharing new perspectives and strategies to help my clients recognize the growth within themselves and reach their goals, both short term and long term.
